A Toastmasters International Club · Frisco, Texas

Find Your Voice.

We're a community learning to tell our stories with confidence — supporting one another through the nerves, the stumbles, and the moment it finally clicks.

Sundays at 5:00 p.m. · Online, with in-person meetups in Frisco

Who We Are

A new club, built by people who were nervous too

Voices of Excellence is a virtual-first club rooted in Frisco. Meetings happen online, so members aren't limited by a commute — and we gather in person for practice that only works in a room with people in it.

Pathways

A real curriculum

Toastmasters' Pathways program gives you a structured route through speaking and leadership skills — projects you complete at your own pace, with feedback at every step.

Every Meeting

Practice, then feedback

You speak, and you get evaluated — specifically and kindly. That loop is the whole engine. It's also why people improve faster here than by simply "getting more practice."

Beyond the Club

A wider network

We're part of District 50, which covers the Dallas–Fort Worth area. That opens up contests, workshops, and a conference each fall — plus a lot of people worth knowing.

When We Meet

Sundays, 5:00 p.m.

We meet online every Sunday evening for about an hour, and gather in person at Lucky Goat Cafe in Frisco for meetups. Guests attend free and are never required to speak — though you're welcome to try Table Topics if the mood strikes.

We're still shaping our schedule around what works for members, so if Sunday evenings are hard for you, tell us. It's the kind of thing a new club can still change.

What actually happens if you show up

01

You watch, mostly

A meeting has prepared speeches, short impromptu answers, and evaluations. As a guest you can sit back the entire time. Nobody will call on you.

02

You'll get introduced

We'll ask your name and what brought you — a sentence is plenty. Several of our members' first sentence here was "I really don't like public speaking."

03

You decide later

No pitch, no pressure. Come to as many meetings as you want before deciding whether to join. Most people visit twice.

Who Runs the Club

Your officer team

Seven elected roles keep a Toastmasters club running. Every one of them is a leadership project in its own right — which is part of why members take them on.

President

Leads the club and sets its direction; presides over meetings and the executive committee.

VP Education

Runs the education program — schedules speeches and meeting roles, tracks Pathways progress.

VP Membership

Welcomes guests and guides them through joining; keeps membership healthy and growing.

VP Public Relations

Tells the club's story — social media, the website, and getting the word out about meetings.

Secretary

Keeps the club's records — meeting minutes, the roster, and official correspondence.

Treasurer

Handles dues, payments, and the budget; keeps the club in good standing financially.

Sergeant at Arms

Handles logistics — sets up the room, physical or virtual, and greets people at the door.
